#About

The spark of an idea

Founded in 2017 in Canada, Reaction Dynamics is pioneering hybrid rocket technology with a world-class team.

Leveraging a patented hybrid rocket engine design that solves a 90-year old problem in propulsion, RDX is driving down cost-to-orbit, while increasing availability of launch solutions.

Today, we are Canada's most advanced rocket company, with a maiden suborbital space launch scheduled for 2026 and a first orbital launch scheduled for 2028.

#SOVEREIGN LAUNCH

Securing Canada's access to space

Canada remains the only G7 nation without sovereign launch capability, forcing Canada's critical missions to depend on foreign rockets. Reaction Dynamics is changing that. In partnership with Maritime Launch Services (MLS) in Nova Scotia, we are establishing a Canadian launch platform that brings this capability home. For the first time, Canada will be able to place its own satellites into orbit, on its own schedule, with its own rockets.
